Hello World — Welcome to My Blog
Hello, World!
Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm Hussein AbdElaziz, a software engineer with a deep passion for building things that work — and making sure they're secure.
Why a Blog?
I've been writing code for over five years, and over that time I've accumulated a lot of notes, debugging war stories, and opinions about tools and frameworks. Instead of keeping them in scattered markdown files, I figured it was time to put them somewhere useful.
Here's what you can expect:
- Tech deep dives — breaking down Angular internals, Svelte reactivity, or how Node.js handles the event loop
- Cybersecurity explorations — from basic web security headers to vulnerability analysis
- Low-level adventures — my journey learning Zig and C, and why understanding memory management matters
- Builder's log — walkthroughs of projects I'm working on
The Stack
This blog itself is built with:
- SvelteKit — for routing, SSR, and a great developer experience
- Markdown — because writing should be simple
- Tailwind CSS — styled dark with a terminal/cybersecurity aesthetic
No CMS, no database, no unnecessary complexity. Just markdown files and a static site generator.
What's Next?
I've got a few posts lined up about my experience diving into Zig, the differences between front-end frameworks I've used professionally, and some cybersecurity topics I've been exploring.
Stay tuned — and feel free to reach out at me@hussein.ee.
